Some memories are like smoke from cherry tobacco. Bittersweet. Clinging to your hair and clothes and never leaving. Sometimes, we do not want them to go. Like the memory of the old man with long white beard, who was smoking its pipe next to his log cabin. Like the wise wizard from the fairytale.
“Grandfather’s Cherry Tobacco” is a porter, brewed with exotic Timiz pepper and cherries to give it unique cherry tobacco like flavor.
Experience: Dark, brownish-black beer is hidden under a thick layer of light beige foam. In the aroma, chocolate is mixed with bittersweet, smokey and tobacco notes from Timiz pepper.
The silky smooth sip starts, as expected, with roasted malt and chocolate. But that is just a start, Timiz pepper and cherries will take over quickly. Havanna tobacco, eucalyptus wood fire, juicy berries. Fragile sourness from the cherries is trying to fight caramel malt sweetness but gives up after a few futile attempts.
End refuses to take any stance and presents a kaleidoscope of flavors - cold coffee, tobacco, smokey fireplace, milk chocolate, subtle hop bitterness and bittersweet charm of the cherries.
