Little India

Beers from the USA wait in the fridge to be tasted. IPA’s as a rule. Large 22 oz. bottles, hopped and strong. Wait for a week and wait for another one, until the weeks become months. There simply is no better time to taste a large bottle of strong beer. This is a good measure to take with a friend. I watch again for the bottles waiting in the fridge, where the aroma and flavor of the hop slowly fades. I wonder why there is not a hopped beer, which would not be so strong. True, IPA’s style rules do not admit such a thing but to my knowledge, heaven does not keep a favorable place for those master brewers, who brew strictly in the style. Thus, one could absolutely try! This is how “Little India” ended up in our midst. In fact, a pleasurable hopped beer can be made milder, as low as 2.7% in volume. This means that this beer has small amount of malt in it; it takes only about a hundred kilos to brew 1 000 liters but hops go by kilos.
