Jolly Newfie is born from brewmaster’s roaming on the subjects of dark ale and Citra hops. The result was a beer, which caused a bit of confusion and feeling of being at a loss. Is it toasty? Is it hoppy? Is it malty? It is the all three! Since it was difficult to put together the type of the beer, it remained on hold for the time being. However, it turned out that the beer had two very interesting features. Firstly, it was always out of stock; secondly, it gained fervent fans. Therefore, we brewed it repeatedly keeping these two features. This is how the beer made it to Lehe Brewery’s top three. Determining Newfie style creates somewhat difficulties for beer guru, nevertheless, name and occupation does not ruin a man, if the man himself is good and honorable.
